De club, met als peterclub Kiwanis Los Angeles, kreeg de naam \u2018Kiwanis Club nr.<sup>1<\/sup>\u2019 mee en was, samen met Wenen, de eerste Kiwanis vestiging in Europa.<\/p>\n<p>Het District Belgium Luxembourg telt bijna 200 clubs met nagenoeg 4.000 leden die elk jaar 120.000 uur vrijwilligerswerk leveren.
